Registration:

The registration will end the First of august 2010.

Only the pilots who are online registrated can participate the Word Championship in September. The National federations of each country have to confirm their pilots with a mail to secretariaat@lazef.be and in cc koen.berkvens@pandora.be. On Tuesday the 28th of September each pilot has to confirm his registration and fill out his document at the spot and sign the general and special rules. The pilots must be in the possession of a valid identity card and race licence, their insurance policy and a certificate from their doctor that they are suitable to participate a race with high speed.
Pilots of nations without a licensing system and without a license have to prove their driving skills, in a race with a large number of competitors, and their knowledge of the current class 8 rules. For these pilots we will provide the possibility to take a driving test during training.
The registration fee will be 110€ to pay cash on the 28th of September during the confirmation.
There is also an obligatory deposit for the number plates of 30€.

Insurance:

Each pilot must be in the possession of valid insurance that covers driving a buggy or sand yacht during a race. The insurance must cover the damage of a third party for at least 5.000.000€. Prove of this (policy) must be shown during the registration.

Accommodation:

There are two agencies that provide the pilots accommodation during the Championship.

Countries teams:

Each team must choose in advance a captain who speaks enough English.
If possible each country can delegate a member for the jury.



Participants
There are 60 pilots allowed to take part in the World Championship on the beach at De Panne in Belgium in September 2010. (60 men, 60 women)
- France, Germany, The Netherlands and England can send each 10 pilots
- All the other countries can send 5 pilots. When the registration is closed and there are places open, they can be given to these countries.
All countries can send 10 female pilots.

The advance registration will be closed the 1ste of august 2010.

Sponsoring
It’s not allowed by pilots or other persons to put sponsoring (flags, banners, etc.) in a zone from the sea to the public road, unless these sponsors are also sponsors from the organisation of the WC. In case of doubt, you can always check it with the organisation.
This will be also a special rule.
